How Do I Meet People?
Manzanita Baptist Church is a place where we can come and see what God is doing as Spectators but move into becoming Hearers of the Word, Followers of Jesus Christ and eventually Builders of His kingdom here on earth. It is a place where every member is encouraged to get involved in ministry. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our growing church family. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Manzanita Baptist Church.

Home Fellowship Groups
Often smaller groups are more effective in interacting, learning and connecting with Biblical truths and discipleship than in a larger context. For this reason, MBC encourages every attender to get plugged in to a small group, meeting on a regular basis in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twenty. We have several groups that meet on different days of the week, at different location, making it easy to find a group that works with your geographical location and/or your busy schedule. Call the church office or click here for a Home Fellowship Group near you. 1-928-753-2370
Youth Ministry
Each Sunday morning during our regular service,we offer Nursery for children age 0-4 and Children’s Church for ages K-3rd grade. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn.
In addition, there is a Sunday School class at 8:30 a.m. for Junior and Senior High students.
On Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m., our Youth Pastor, Scott Olander, leads LIGHThouse for Junior and Senior High students. LIGHThouse is an acronym for Living In God’s Holy Truth. It is an action packed format of praise, worhsip and relevant messages to help students become better equipped to deal with situations unique to teens by arming them with the Word of God.
Women’s Ministries
Manzanita Baptist Church Women’s Ministries gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Offering Bible study, prayer groups, mentoring and discipling opportunities, retreats and other events, women are encouraged, equipped and educated through the Word. Call the church office at (928) 753-2370 or Lesa Stephens at (928) 279-6656 for information on current activities.
Men’s Ministries
Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. On the first Saturday of every month, MBC holds a Men’s Prayer Breakfast. Additionally, men are encouraged to mentor and disciple one another in smaller groups or pairs. Relationships are emphasized in camping trips, retreats and even through work projects as the Lord brings us opportunity.
Young At Heart
Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the Young At Heart group of MBC provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction.
