What does Manzanita Baptist Church
offer Jr. and Sen. High students?
The Manzanita Baptist Youth Ministry encourages teenage students to have a passion in their lives for Jesus Christ. We do this by offering different events throughout the year that students can get involved in. Some of these are weekly events, while others are monthly, and still others are offered once a year.
Weekly Events
Thursday nights:
L– I – G – H – T – house
(This acronym stands for Living In God’s Holy Truth.)
LIGHT house meets at 7:00pm and goes until 8:45pm. It is great time to build new relationships, worship our amazing God, and hear a bible-based,
Christ-centered message.
Sunday mornings:
Power Packed
Power Packed meets at 8:30am and goes until 9:30am. This is also an excellent time to build new relationships, worship the Almighty God, and get into some in-depth, life-challenging bible study.
Various times and days:
Discipleship/Mentoring Meetings
This opportunity is something that is offered to students upon request. If a
student is interested in participating in a one-on-one or small-group mentoring meeting they are welcome to contact Scott Olander (MBC’s Youth Pastor). These meetings are great opportunities for spiritual accountability, personal prayer, and biblical instruction.
Monthly & Yearly Events
There are several other opportunities to get plugged into MBC’s Youth Group. Throughout the year we offer activities such as fundraisers, camps, missions trips, Christian concerts, outreach experiences, etc.
